The Norfolk Corn Whisky
Description
The Norfolk range of Grain whiskies are incredibly rare and special bottlings. Distilled only very occasionally from a selection of diferent grains, these whiskies are unique and highlight the wonderful flavours grain other than Barley can impart. This Corn whisky release has amazing flavour thanks for the use of mainly maize and a little ryr when distiling and then a life spent maturing in a Virgin cask.
The end result is a truly great whisky.
The grain
Lots of maize, just like popcorn!
The nose
Wafts of rich toffee, chocolate and hooneycomb
The palate
Toffee, oak spice hazelnuts and chocolate changing to caramel and vanilla sponge with a bit of added water.
The finish
A full and long finish with toffee and pepper
