We are J.L & B.A Nelstrop of Roudham House, East Harling, Norwich, NR16 2RJ. We operate the online retail shop for products sourced from English Whisky Co. Limited’s website. Our VAT number is 288 6509 06.
English Whisky Co. Limited is a company registered in England under company number 01545184 with registered office also at Roudham House, Roudham House, East Harling, Norwich, NR16 2RJ.

How the contract is formed between us
You may only purchase products from this website if you are at least 18 years old.
All products shown on this website are subject to availability. We will inform you by e-mail as soon as possible if the product you have ordered is not available and we will not process your order if made.
After you place an order, you will receive an e-mail from us acknowledging that we have received your order. We will then confirm our acceptance to you by sending you a further e-mail (Dispatch Confirmation). The Contract between us will only be formed when we send you the Dispatch Confirmation.
Prices and payment
Prices for our products may change from time to time, but changes will not affect any order which we have confirmed with a Dispatch Confirmation.
Prices shown against each product listed are not inclusive of postage and packaging which will be added to the bill at the rates indicated.
Any products highlighted as being subject to a promotional price have previously been available at the higher indicated price on this website or in the English Whisky Co. Limited’s store.
We accept all major credit cards. Your card is charged at the time of ordering.
When the order is placed at our website, credit card numbers are encrypted using 128 bit encryption. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. They are not held in clear text on any website. Alternatively you may send your credit card information via phone, fax or post.
For orders made for delivery within the UK or the EU, 20% VAT is included. For all orders to be delivered outside the EU please contact the office and we will happily deal with your order and deduct the VAT. All Alcohol will have UK Excise Duty paid on it before despatch, regardless of destination.
If you access this website from outside the UK you are responsible for compliance with local laws if and to the extent that local laws are applicable. In particular if purchasing products for delivery outside of the UK you will be responsible for payment of any import duties and taxes. Please contact your local customs office for further information before placing your order.
We endeavour to process your order right away. Within the UK we will normally deliver your order to you by third party courier within 3 business days of Dispatch Confirmation. Please contact the office regarding delivery of International orders.
All orders will require your signature or the signature of your nominated recipient at the time of delivery. If no one is available at your address to take delivery, our courier will leave you a note that the products have been returned to our premises, in which case, please contact us to rearrange delivery. In the event that you specifically request a delivery with no signature, all risk in the products rests with you from the time of their being left by us at the agreed delivery point.
We do not accept liability for delayed or non delivery of product due to mis-information provided by you.
If your item is not in stock, we will try to back order for you. Sometimes this is not possible as we are dealing with rare and often unique products. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.
We do not disclose buyers' information to third parties other than when order details are processed as part of the order fulfilment. In this case, the third party will not disclose any of the details to any other third party.
If you are unhappy with products purchased which are not faulty, we will happily refund your money, or exchange the products if you inform us within 10 working days from the date you receive the Dispatch Confirmation, which is when the Contract between us is formed (or 7 working days from the day after your receipt of the products if later). In this event, any delivered product must be returned to us in good condition within its original packaging and in the case of food or drink products with the container seal unopened. (Unfortunately we cannot pay for the delivery charge of unwanted products.) We will make reimbursements within 30 days of cancellation.
Details of your right to cancel and an explanation of how to exercise it are provided in the Dispatch Confirmation.
However, if any products that we send to you are faulty or damaged we will replace them or reimburse you for the expense, including the cost of delivery. If products are faulty or damaged, we ask that you tell us within 48 hours of receipt of the products. All refunds and reimbursements will be paid within 30 days of your notifying us of your wish to return the products. Any product returned must be adequately packed to avoid any possible damage.
We refund you on the credit card or debit card used by you to pay.
Your legal rights as a consumer are not affected by this returns policy.
